THE POSITION OF THE PIL FLOOR
The pelvic floor is formed from layers of pelvic floor muscles and lies between the pubic bone and the tailbone. These muscles can be activated through voluntary exercises. This is important for stabilizing the internal organs and preventing incontinence.
HOW PELVIC FLOOR TRAINING WORKS
Together with your therapist, you will specifically train the various muscle layers that make up the pelvic floor. The targeted reflexive contraction and relaxation, necessary for maintaining the basic tone of the pelvic floor, is performed fully clothed in a comfortable and calm atmosphere.

WHY IS PELVIC FLOOR TRAINING SO IMPORTANT FOR ALL OF US?
Many women and men are familiar with the unpleasant problem of involuntary urination during activities such as sports, coughing, laughing, or sneezing. Age is not a factor; this can occur as early as age 35. Similarly, men can suffer from prostate problems or erectile dysfunction from middle age onward.
Therefore, in physiotherapy, I see training the pelvic floor muscles as an essential component of health and well-being for both men and women.
